June 2025 and we’ve done some deals with suppliers. It was nice that they approached us with regards to us being their preferred installers and with getting us set up with stock and a bit of a showroom.

What better way to kick off by getting some gear onto our Ford Ranger. What we are talking about specifically is product from Stedi, DriveTech4x4 and Redarc. We have also now on this Ranger a tray slider by Airplex, and racking and bike racks by Rhino Rack.

If you go and stalk us on Facebook you will find a timelapse video of the Stedi Rally Bar install. We’ve gone with a smaller set of lights on this ute, (My taste),however the rally bar and Stedi bracketry offer many variations with the spot lights and or light bars. The kits are very comprehensive and even get you started in some cases with a pre-done wiring loom that can be adapted to most applications. You might notice in one of the pics we swapped out one of the reverse lights that we installed sometime ago with a Stedi version. (At the time we only had access to one, but its been good to see a comparison. next time you see it, it will have 2).

The Side Steps are by Drivetech4x4. These are a multi-fit step, with brackets sold separately for other applications. There is also a reasonable amount of adjustment front to back and in and out. As pictured they are tucked in as far as they will go to suit a 2wd on standard wheels, they can go a lot wider if you had bigger wheels and flares etc.
